Daniella Boutin is a natural adventurer and effortlessly adapts to different environments and circumstances. With a broad spectrum of interests that have taken her to many corners of the world, she has built up knowledge and experience in the fields of travel, culture, natural history and wildlife.
She is currently in the production stages of several programmes that she is co-producing and presenting, including The Pursuit of Happiness, and Diving to the Death.
Specialist Production & Photography
Prior to television production, Daniella had a successful career as a commercial photographer and director with particular focus on underwater work. Alongside her husband Alex, she is joint founder h2o productions ltd. a production company specialising in water-related filming and photography.
Underwater Specialist
As a PADI MSDT Instructor, and HSE Part IV commercial diver, her in-depth knowledge of diving and biology along with her intelligent, confident style, makes her an excellent choice for programmes about natural history and exploration of the underwater world.
Journalist
Daniella has been writing freelance articles for many years since working as Editor of the Shopping Channel for AOL UK. She has had her work featured in Mother & Baby, Sport Diver, Yoga magazine, and AOL amongst others and writes mainly on the subjects of consumer issues and travel, with specialities in dive locations and family travel.
Her commissions have sent her to many locations worldwide including St Lucia, Mexico, Greece, and Italy, to name a few.
Commitment to Research
With a particular passion for holistic living and travel, her most memorable job was being asked to put together a spa review. During her research she was able to experience a whole range of holistic treatments and spa locations around the world – what hard work!
