As Late Night Lisa, 26 year-old music graduate Lisa Duncombe is the voice of a generation every evening at midnight.
Lisa joined Classic FM in September 2002 after writing a letter to Managing Director and Programme Controller Roger Lewis complaining that the station wasn’t doing enough to attract young listeners. He responded by handing Lisa her own show.

Lisa presents two hours of music that showcases some of the world’s most exciting young talent every weekday night 12pm -2am. All her efforts in this regard were rewarded when her first set of RAJAR figures showed that in just three months, Lisa increased her audience by a record-breaking 67%.
Lisa is passionate about bringing classical music to new audiences and was rewarded in 2005 with a Sony Radio Academy nomination for “The Weekly Music Show of The Year”, a great accolade as she was the only female presenter short listed.
Judging the Classical Brit Awards
Over the past 3 years Lisa has been a judge at the Classical Brit Awards, where she joined a panel of highly regarded music professionals for the Critic’s Choice Award.
Lisa joined forces with young violinist Chloe Hanslip for a concert at the Royal Albert Hall, raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Lisa has found herself pictured for “Video killed a radio star” displayed at the London portrait gallery. She also reaffirmed Classic FM’s relationship with QPR where she met players and modeled the original team strip.
Lisa has presented at many esteemed events including an evening with the London Symphony Orchestra, Music Manifesto “State of Play” at the Roundhouse and has become a regular compère alongside Richard Stilgoe and Howard Goodall at the annual Schools Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.
She continues to pursue her interest in music journalism by writing for both Classic FM magazine and Muso magazine. Now Lisa is looking forward to developing her career through a wider range of media.
