Chris Packham is back with Springwatch
BBC Two, Bank Holiday Monday
This year Chris Packham is hoping for ‘a few new species and some great new science’
Chris Packham: “Spring has finally arrived. It’s better late than never for us although the repercussions of the cold and wet are sure to play a big role in our series this year. Nevertheless, life always goes on so I’m very excited about getting back to the beautiful RSPB Ynys-hir Nature Reserve to see what dramas and surprises we have in store this year. I’m hoping for a few new species and some more great new science – something to top last year’s sensational ‘newt guffing’ and the moles radial sesamoid bone!”
Chris will be presenting Springwatch along with Michaela Strachan and Martin Hughes-Games. The new three week series starts on Monday 27th May, broadcasting live from the field base at RSPB Ynys-hir Nature Reserve in mid-Wales - BBC Two, Monday – Thursday 8pm, for 3 weeks.
