Delighted to Represent Martin Hughes-Games

Martin Hughes-Games

We are delighted to announce we now represent Martin Hughes-Games.

A familiar face of wildlife television

Martin is a popular and very familiar face on BBC’s live wildlife shows Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch, which he has co-hosted with Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan for nearly nine years. Martin also produced and presented the offshoot programme Unsprung from its very first transmission.

What is less well known is that Martin also worked on the shows as a producer. In fact, martin enjoyed a 30 year career as a BBC producer and series producer before stepping out in front of the camera. This experience – on both sides of the camera – gives Martin an almost unique insight into the business of making successful television programmes.

He has presented hour long documentaries such as Nature’s Miracle Babies (BBC1), half hour shows for BBC and Discovery,  including recently The Lion Queens, a show about the awesome women forest guards in India’s Gir National Park. He has produced a huge number of short form films for the BBC watches, regional television and for Children’s TV such as Evolutionwatch (BBC Scotland).

Living the wild life

As well as wildlife Martin has various interesting pursuits. He is a qualified rope technician and keen climber and a passionate motorcyclist having raced successfully on UK tracks for 6 years. He is also the proud owner of 14 motorcycles. Martin also published his first book in 2015, A Wild Life.
