Jaz Singh exploded into the national spotlight on BBC’s The Traitors, where he earned a fierce reputation as “the most trustworthy man in the UK” and the now-iconic detective nickname “Jazatha Christie.” His sharp instincts, emotional intelligence, and integrity led him to the show’s final and helped secure the win for his team, culminating in lifting the 2024 NTA for Best Reality Competition alongside Claudia Winkleman and a BAFTA nomination.
Since The Traitors, Jaz has become a familiar face and voice across television, radio and podcasts. He presented a special feature on Agatha Christie on ITV This Morning. As a correspondent for BBC Morning Live, he talked all things Traitors and reality TV. He joined the Vaisakhi celebration episode of BBC’s Saturday Kitchen. And he outsmarted competitors on The Celebrity Weakest Link.
His deeply personal and emotional journey, from family betrayal to redemption, was the subject of his BBC Radio 4 documentary “The Psychology of a Second Life”, sparking national conversation and earning him a spot on BBC Morning Live and ITV Loose Women. His openness and honesty resonate widely, adding a profound layer to his public persona.
On air, Jaz has proven himself a natural broadcaster, launching The Motivation Show and hosting The Everyday Hustle on BBC Asian Network, whilst appearing regularly on BBC Radio Manchester.
